About the artist

Geoff was born in Harrow, Middlesex in 1950. He attended the Harrow School of Art and began his apprenticeship at Gilcrist Studios, London as a commercial artist in1965.

He became studio manager at Mike Mann Studio in 1972 and continued to workas a freelance artist after leaving there ten years later. He gained a BA honours fromMiddlesex University in 2000.

He has been involved with a range of community art projects, working with St Martin’s in the Field Centre for the Homeless, in conjunction with the National Gallery, St John’s Centre for the Homeless in Hackney and the Victoria and Albert Museum (the Homeless View of London, three murals). He has led many other projects with local museums and schools.
